You will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, in particular the small business customers, whilst efficiently and effectively managing work flow and meeting the agreed upon service level agreements.

The role consists of:
  • Outbound Sales: To assist with the development of a yearly promotional calendar and outbound campaigns primarily based on existing high value small business customers. Follow up work includes sending referrals to product partners, referring lending opportunities back to the Small Business Manager and opening new transaction accounts. This also includes developing and implementing training/coaching of other team members to improve their referral rate effectiveness (up sell/cross-sell/whole of wallet).
  • Reporting: Day to day management and reporting of campaigns/income/transfers to stakeholders and developing and improving on reporting tools or processes.
  • Working with the Team Managers and Coaches to help to develop and execute continuous improvement opportunities identified in the team. Examples of this may include improvements to team processes, procedures and information sources
  • Sound knowledge of business policies, customers banking needs, documentation and procedures

This role operates in a complex, demanding and constantly changing environment amid strong internal and external competitive pressures. The incumbent must be able to successfully meet challenging performance targets /standards and is expected to set an example by conducting internal and external relationships with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements of the incumbent will be:
  • Targeted outbound calling
  • Being able to work autonomously as the role will also require the ability to take responsibility and run with tasks without direct supervision
  • Balancing the competing demands in timely fashion
  • Ability to present to stakeholder groups, such as Team Leaders and Senior Managers
  • Sound knowledge of small business banking structures (sole proprietor, partnership, company, trust etc) and the differences between the requirements of these businesses
  • Experience in planning and co-ordinating projects
  • Undergraduate degree
